Artist's Comments

Working for a railroad affords you opportunities not usually available. This sentiment was stated by a late friend and former railroader. Rarely is the rail photographer able to pose the train or know where it will be. As a railroader, I always pack my digital camera for times when the right shot becomes available, if there is time. I'd have preferred if the sun were on my side, but in railroading you take what you can get. In this case a clean, clear shot of the engine and it's cars with no wires or other annoying obstructions. I've always been partial to these low angle shots!

Tuut tuut! I like it, raw metal.

The more massive an object is, the more gravity it contains, which explains why it is harder to get ketchup out of the bigger glass ketchup bottles. More importantly it is also why a big screen tv collects more dust than a hoover.

Finally, a look from inside the industry!
